About Wolfville Crokinole Club

Wolfville Crokinole Club (WCC) was founded in 2022 by Candace MacDonald and Rob Butler, who are avid flickers and proud residents of the Wolfville area. Candace and Rob wanted to raise the profile of the game of crokinole and to give back to the community which has offered so much to them over the years. WCC hosts monthly pay-to-play tournaments with cash prizes, as well as other free-to-play social events. While most of our events are held in and around Wolfville, we have hosted events as far away as Halifax and Lawrencetown (Annapolis Valley).  To date, we have held events in â€‹

In 2023, Wolfville Crokinole Club accepted a sponsorship with Tracey Boards, an Ontario-based company who provided the club with Canadian-made professional-grade boards to play on. In December 2023, Wolfville Crokinole Club registered officially as a not-for-profit society with the Joint Stocks Registry of Nova Scotia. In the spring of 2024, Wolfville Crokinole was the recipient of a Town of Wolfville Community Partnership Partnership grant, which agreed to support WCC's quality crokinole offerings via funds to formally purchase equipment for the club. â€‹

WCC plays most of its Wolfville events at Church Brewing Co. (329 Main St, Wolfville), though other host venues include The Library Pub & Wine Tavern in Wolfville, Walkers Restaurant in Windsor, Lunn's Mill Brewery in Lawrencetown, and Good Robot Brewery in Halifax.
